New Teacher Initiative (NTI)
The New Teacher Initiative offers new teachers opportunities for professional development and advancement. The goals that the NTI Committee has for new teachers, in supporting them as they practice the craft of teaching, are the following:
 To learn additional, effective teaching strategies and classroom management skills- To develop and build strong relationships with students and parents
- To connect with fellow teachers to build a support network
As you begin your teaching career, many times the road will be smooth; other times it may seem to be full of potholes and without directions to guide you. It is the NTI Committee’s hope that you will refer to this page often for that guidance and advice you may need.
