2014 Summer
Youth Camps

Stories can be expressed in so many ways! We will be plunging into the performing arts. Campers will have the opportunity to contribute in supervised inventive dramatic activities including a final production. Campers will use creative thinking skills and inspire teamwork. This experience will provide children with enriched learning experiences using drama as the writing genre of choice.

This camp is for students entering grades 2-3.

Instructor: Maria Spinosa

Ms. Spinosa is an elementary and middle school teacher. Her favorite subject to teach is writing, of course! In 2009, she was honored to become a National Writing Project Fellow. Ever since then, writing has been a major part of her life. She has presented at the Diverse Literacies Conference twice and has presented numerous Family Literacy Nights to encourage reading and writing as a family.

All camps will be held at the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus in Center Valley, PA.
