Homeschool Initiatives

The mission of the Homeschool Initiatives Committee is to support home educators by providing a connection to a national professional learning community designed to sustain life-long literacy.

• We provide workshops on topics concerning the teaching of writing, but tailored specifically to the homeschool teacher and student.

• We promote the Lehigh Valley Writing Project and its resources within the homeschool community as an additional help in curriculum and portfolio planning.

• We involve homeschool educators throughout the Lehigh Valley in a support capacity as needed in the teaching of writing in whatever form that takes in an individual homeschool.
