Youth Programs

The Lehigh Valley Writing Project offers teachers numerous opportunities for professional development and advancement. Through our Youth Programs, teachers can instruct students in small, non-graded settings to inspire and promote literacy skills and can experiment with best practices before taking them into their classrooms. The goals of these programs are:

  • To provide writing and reading enrichment in summer camp experiences for youth in grades 2-12
  • To conduct workshops throughout the year for students in area school districts
  • To allow teachers to develop and experiment with best writing practices for a variety of age levels and content areas
