April Zane, 4/18/76 My big sister, who had just turned 16, ran away from home on Easter Sunday,1976.Years have gone by without a call, letter,nothing.Several attempts to find her failed. Articles in papers ran in August in the Joliet,Illinois Herald news,on Aug.28,2003.I was six years old the last time I saw her. Our parents went to their grave not knowing what happened to her.I am supposed to legally declare her dead now because there is no social security number for an April Zane. From a police psychic, he says she is using a different identity,and said I will never see her again. She didn't want to be stuck babysitting me,which were her exact words,the last time I saw her. I wonder,what's worse? Thinking she was dead all these years,or her being alive and not wanting to see me? I have tried to put the word out on her story all this time. I hope someone reads this and it helps them not to put their family members, and themselves through this kind of heartache. Thank
