I Would Like to Help Runaways

Things were bad for me when I was young. My parents never cared about
me and my father drank a lot and beat me. I was thrown out/runaway when
I was 15. I lived in the streets and ate from the dumpster at McDonalds
in Los Angeles. I was lucky and never got into drugs, crime, or
prostitution. I was always able to find work, even if it meant going
from door to door and mowing lawns. I slept in the back of an abandoned
car for a year or so. Looking back, the hardest thing for me was
missing out on being a kid and experiencing my teen aged years.

I'm 39 now and have a daughter and we are very close. I run my own
business and have a pretty good life. Things do get better. I treat my
daughter very well and we are very close, I think my experiences has
shown me how important parent/child relationships are.

If anyone is a runaway and needs help, please email me. I'm in Southern
California. I won't judge you or anything, I've been there. But if
things get too hard and you need help or place to stay send me an email
and way to contact you.
