Running from My Brother This is my story of running away:
My brother is hurting me in everyway imaginable. This is not "brother and sister fighting". This is truly physical. I want to runaway. I want outta here. But I can't. I want to leave so much, but I could never leave my parents. I love them, but I can't live with my brother. He is hurting me. ANd let me get this clear...THIS IS NOT BROTHER AND SISTER FIGHTING. This is the real deal. He hits me. And he hurts my dog badly. He kicks her, hits her, and no one does anything about it. When I try to help her, I get hurt. He has tried to kill me. Putting pillows over my head, pointing guns and knives at me, the list goes on and on. Me and a friend are planning to run away. We can't take much more of this. My friend is to remain classified, so we will call her Beth. I haven't noticed Beth hates it at home. She called me on the phone one day to say her mom hit her. I don't know what to believe anymore. But I can't take much more. I am planning my trip carefully. I am planning on waiting until the snow dries up and in the summer, I'm outta here. I don't want to get cold in the winter. But I don't want to be bitten by a snake in the summer. I am planning what to bring and where to go and sleep. I am planning everything out like it was a CBTS Test. This message is to anyone who wants to runaway: It will not be easy. There will be pimps, prostitutes, druggies, rapists, even killers. There will be little food. And there will be nowhere to sleep. I am not saying don't run. But this is what to expect. This is your choice, nobody else's. You decide. But remember what I told you. It will be rough. This goes out to anyone with a harmful brother: I am a coward. I can never tell anybody about the abuse I go through. But I can tell you this. You have to tell. And girls, I do not mean when your brother listens in to your phone conversation. I mean when he physically hurts you badly. This is to you. TELL PLEASE!!! I don't want anybody else's life to be wasted like mine has been. Go tell. For you and for me. This is for anybody who has a dog being hurt with no control: This is illegal. You cannot hurt animals and get away with it. Here is an email address for the Kentucky Police Department. Email them and tell them the address and the abuser's ID. They will carry it over to your local police department if you don't know theirs. dbrown@paducah.ky.us This is for those who have a friend who is being hurt: Tell sombody. Email the police email address above and tell them. Make sure you have the address though. And if they need to get away from home for a few days, invite them over. If they need to cry, cry with them. Be there for them and tell the police or an adult. And if they say, "It's none of our business", just email the police. That's the best anyway. I hope this helps you guys.
