RUNAWAYS

National Runaway Switchboard offers confidential help to runaways and their families, as well as information and educational services.

National Center for Missing and Exploited Kids is a non-profit U.S. agency established locate missing children and teenagers.

Team Hope provides one-on-one support to parents of missing children through a volunteer network of parents who have survived the experience. The website also offers a wealth of information on abduction, runaways, Internet enticement, etc.

Covenant House provides shelter and many other services to homeless and runaway youth.

"Home Free" Bus Service - From Greyhound's site: "Free transportation home for runaways is provided on Greyhound in conjunction with the National Runaway Switchboard. A youth who calls the switchboard is eligible for a ticket home if he or she is 12-20 years old, is willing to return home to their legal guardian, the legal guardian wishes them to return home, the guardian has filed a runaway report, and the program has not been used by the youth two times before. Operation Go Home - Canadian organization dedicated to reuniting runaways with their families or matching them with agencies which can provide help. Educational materials are also available.

Foundation 2 helps runaways, suicidal teens, and others through a crisis center, shelters, and other outreach services.
