For the thirteenth year running, Penn State Lehigh Valley has sponsored faculty, staff and student participation in the Women's 5K Classic.
This event is a 3.1 mile walk/run event held annually at the Lehigh Valley Parkway and proceeds benefit the local fight against breast and other female cancers.
This year, nearly fifty Penn State Lehigh Valley students, staff, and faculty raised a total of $2,000.
The event is hosted annually by the Women's 5k Classic Incorporated.
Since 1995, approximately $45,000 has been raised by Penn State Lehigh Valley participants.
Penn State Lehigh Valley participation in this event is jointly sponsored by
the Student Government Association. |
