Undergraduate: Biology 297A (4 credits)

Pre-trip - Complete all reading and Web site assignments.
Trip - Maintain a daily journal, attend all programs/presentations, research one assigned species and partake in required, field-based research activities.
Post-trip - Submit selected journal entries, complete species assignment and final post trip questions.

* Prerequisite: Biology 110
** Students majoring in Science Education will be invited to participate in a post-trip workshop, lead by Drs. McLaughlin and Fadigan, to gain expertise in utilizing and/or designing web-based experiential learning activities (CHANCE modules) to support PA educators in meeting new Environmental and Ecology Academic Standards set forth by the PDE.

Undergraduate Upper Division / Graduate: Biology 497E / (4 credits)*

Trip - Maintain a daily journal, research and then lead a group discussion on a course related topic (approved by instructor), research two assigned species, and partake in required, field-based research activities.
Post-trip - Submit selected journal entries, complete species assignment and final post trip questions.

** Students majoring in Science Education will be invited to participate in a post-trip workshop, lead by Drs.
