Physical Requirements:

Must be in good physical condition and able to walk 10 to 15 km a day and/or night through dense rainforest and debris covered beaches during high tide and low tide.

No severe eyesight problems (turtle work is at night, without artificial lights).

No abuse of illegal drugs; no consumption of alcohol during working hours, which may include night shifts, or abuse of alcohol at any time.

Preferably no smoking, those who do smoke should only do so in open areas and never on nightly patrols.

Be willing to work under difficult and uncomfortable conditions such as heat, rain and mosquitoes all day and night.

Know if you are allergic to mosquito bites.

Have a personal insurance policy.

Must be able to endure long bus trips over rough and bumpy terrain (infamous "wackos").
