Multidisciplinary
- Gale
Virtual Reference Library (GVRL) contains searchable full-text
of specialized encyclopedias, almanacs, and other reference sources
in many fields.
- HAPI
(Hispanic American Periodicals Index) indexes
articles, book reviews, documents, original literary works. To get the full articles, either search for the article title on the journal's website (link provided by HAPI), or search the journal title in The Cat. If available within a database, The Cat will link to the journal. If not, use ILLiad to order the article. It will usually be available online to you within 24-48 hours.
- JSTOR
provides the full-text of journal articles related to the fields of
Ecology, Economics, Cultures, Finance, Sociology, History, Mathematics, Political Science,
and Population Studies.
- ProQuest (multiple databases) indexes 5,000+ magazines, journals, and newspapers
on all topics.
Art & Music
Librarian's Choice: Oxford Art Online is a major art database including Grove Art Online (more than 45,000 articles covering all aspects of Western and non-Western visual art contributed by 6,700 scholars from 120 countries), The Oxford Companion to Western Art, Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, and The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms.
